Free 10-minute phone consultation
We offer a free 10-minute phone consultation to talk through what you are looking for, your current situation, and whether Respond Therapeutic Services may be the right fit for your needs.
Initial meeting
If you choose to proceed, we begin by getting to know you, your NDIS goals, your current supports, what is working well, and what feels difficult in everyday life. Appointments may be available by telehealth or face-to-face.
Biopsychosocial assessment
We use a biopsychosocial assessment to understand your strengths, support needs, routines, relationships, health, environment, goals, risks, and any barriers that may be affecting your wellbeing, participation or capacity.
Collaborative support planning
Together, we identify practical goals and strategies that can support your everyday life. This may include planning around emotional wellbeing, social participation, routines, communication, self-advocacy, relationships, safety, service navigation and NDIS-related needs.
Therapy and capacity building
Therapy focuses on evidence-informed strategies that are tailored to your goals, circumstances and support needs. This may include support with emotional wellbeing, confidence, self-advocacy, relationships, communication, social participation, routines and the goals that are most important to you.
Working with your support network
With your consent, we can communicate with the people involved in your support, such as family members, Support Coordinators, support workers, health professionals, carers or other care team members. This helps therapy stay connected to your broader supports and everyday life.
Reports and review
We regularly review how therapy is working for you, what may need to change, and where support can be adjusted. When needed, reports can be prepared to support NDIS access, plan reviews, reassessments, therapy recommendations and ongoing planning. Reports are informed by assessment, therapeutic work and relevant information about your goals, support needs and daily life.
